The first JCI Chapter in the Philippines – Manila Jaycees was born, composed of 17 members, 10 of which were Filipinos and 7 Americans.

:: Admission of JCIP into the Worldwide Organization

Two delegates attended the 3rd World Congress in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to petition the admission of JCI Philippines to the worldwide organization and returned to the Philippines with the charter for the national organization that was to be known as Junior Chamber International Philippines.

:: First National Convention

The first National Convention was held at the Manila Hotel. First National President elected was Ramon del Rosario of Manila.

:: Formal Charter Presentation

It was on February 2, 1952 when the formal charter presentation was made through the effort of a former Ambassador Amelit R. Mutuc, National Secretary of the Philippine Jaycees, with the guidance of Tarlac, the sponsoring chapter.
